Austria-Hungary when the French annexed the region.

Mansfield, OH. where Peter was a well known home builder in the Mansfield OH
area. Peter and Julia also had a son,
named after his father, Peter (Jr.).

Peter Sr. was of medium height and small build with light blue eyes and dark
brown hair per his WWI Draft Registration Card.

Peter Bernert (Sr.) was born 31 May 1878 in Hudusitze, Hungary, and died 18 Jan
1933 after an illness of 10 days; in Mansfield, OH at home.


Julia was born 27 Sep 1885
in Austria/Hungary; she died 15 Nov 1966 following a 6-month illness, at the age
of 81, in Mansfield, Richland County, OH



Crist Bernert's cousins are Matt and Carl Bernert
who moved to Chicago. In the 1930 Federal Census a "Math"
Bernert is listed as born about 1907 (he is 23 in 1930) and the son of Carl and
